Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

It pours a golden yellow and gives the same color body with a one inch white foamy head in my pint glass. The smell is hop forward with some nice lingering malts that come through as the beer warms. The taste is basically the same. The mouthfeel is about a medium and smooth, slightly creamy. Overall, this is a great American IPA, get it if you see it.

Poured into a glass from a bottle. Hazy appearance. Aroma is outstanding with strong citrus and pine notes. Taste is consistent with the smell but a underwhelming bitter and grainy finish leaves a lot to be desired. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I really have trouble writing reviews for these IPAs because they all, relatively, taste the same to me. High quality, fresh-tasting IPAs are a dime a dozen and very few examples are doing anything dramatically different or re-inventing the wheel. At least not the ones I am drinking. And there’s nothing wrong with that. This is another fine tasting IPA I would qualify as high-quality.

Gold orange. Creamy head. Strong fruity candy, powdery resin. Nice aroma. Same taste, with pine citrus. Mild malty but clean and hoppy. Strong bitter. Good balance.Full body, nice character, all around nice IPA.

Can at the Lincoln Wine Bar. Pine and fruits: peach and grapefruit. A little fizzy to me--I don’t like it as much as their Detour, but a solid beer.

Hazy orange - gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is slightly soft but there is still decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Very nice orange and tangerine hop. Touch of citric peel bitterness. Spicy pine finish. Citric peel linger. Really like the juicy rich citrus here.
