Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

A really tasty IPA from a solid brewery. This one clocks in at 7%+ but you would never really tell, really nice balance and of course the hops plow through the taste. Nothing crazy going on here -- just a solid IPA. And that’s not bad at all.

This IPA is a little more complex than I’d have thought, and I enjoyed it. It pours dark orange in color, there’s a lot of foamy head. The aroma is sweet citrus, like tangerines. Then the sweetness is understated in the flavor, and there’s a decent little bitter bite going on. Nice.

Can - Nice sweet caramel notes, citrus and some peel. Clear copper with a rich beige ehad. Lots of malt and some nice citrus with a good amount of bitterness. Solid old school IPA.

Sampled a bottle poured into a tulip glass, this ale had a medium orange pour with some red hues and gave a white one finger cover of bubbles, it left nice spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass, the nose had aromas of orange and grapefruit citrus hops, toasted malt and bread, fruit and malt sweetness, the flavors were pine and fruit citrus hops, toasted malt and a little bread, some malt sweetness, the finish had a medium hop bitterness that lingered on the tongue, malt and fruit followed, the mouth feel was about medium, maybe a touch less, it was creamy and had soft to average carbonation, the nose was fruity with orange and grapefruit hops, the flavor was pretty much the same, the hops were fruity with nice toasted malt, a decent IPA drink, I would recommend.

Bottle from Beer Cartel 080416. Well brewed with a good combination of hoppiness and maltiness. Vibrant looking in the glass and resinous in the mouth.

355 ml. split by 4 @ “Sir Goatie McGoat S&G Tasting”. Thank you Mathieu87 and/or PriorL! BBF tomorrow when consumed. Dark hazy orange, little white head. Nose is orange, plaster, oily, yeast is a bit too upfront. Taste is sweetish plaster, oily pine, orange, light pine, floral, some bread. Body is a bit yeasty, oily. Okay, bit too yeasty but it is also not super fresh so there is that.
