Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Superior IPA. One of the best I’ve had in awhile. Great balance of sweetness with a citrus and pine hoppiness. Jay brought this one back with him from Utah in spring, 2013.

Dark clear orange with one inch of white sticky foam on top in a pint glass poured from a bottle. Fantastic hops aroma with pine and citrus dominating - this is what an IPA should smell like. Taste is solid hop bitterness, exactly what it smells like. Slight maltiness, smooth going down and a lingering of piney hops on the palate. A terrific IPA!

Bright hop aroma, gorgeous head that leaves perfectly symmetrical rings down the glass as it's consumed. Perfect balance of fruit and IPA bite. A staple beer for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Near perfect. Drinking with jambalaya. Copper with incrdbly sticky white head. Aroma of hops and malt and citrus and more hops. Perfect creamy balance.

Pours a clear golden with slight tint of orange and one finger of head that sticks around a bit. Mouth-watering hoppy smells of fresh-cut grass and piney woods with a hint of citrus and light malt. Intense flavors of dank, grassy hops that approaches an oniony or garlicy character, but falls just short of that. Sweet from the begining, but also very bitter the whole time, so it finally finishes somewhat dry after the long bitter finish. Great American IPA. Just a great beer.

Incredible! This IPA is like no other I’ve tasted. The hops used in this brew are probably the same hops used in their Dubhe. Everything an IPA should be, piney, floral aroma. Appearance is slightly opaque with a one finger head. Taste was great, piney and floral hops coming through with a solid malt background. I’m really amazed at this one and the price is right! I will definitely keep this one on hand for friends and family to experience.

Wonderful inviting floral and fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy up front, wet, juicy with a touch of dryness setting in halfway thru. Not too bitter, a wonderfully flavorful easy drinking ipa that's easy on the palate. Absolutely fantastic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amazingly outstanding IPA! Hop Notch pours a very dark golden color with a beautiful off-white, cascading head. The nose is very inviting, with notes of spicy and floral hops, pine, grass, sweet malts and a touch of lemon. The flavors are very well-balanced and delicious, and the body is smooth, creamy and extremely drinkable. This is one of those IPA’s that I could sit hang with all night. Notes from the flavor include dry hops, grass, lightly toasted bread, grapefruit, lemon, pine and a touch of sweet malt. The finish is dry and spicy.
