COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This a very good brew.

Draft at Maria’s. Pours a nice looking deep golden orange, lightly hazed with persistent white head. The nose is distinctly hop forward, notes of citrus and faint resiny pine. Clean overall with a bit of an old school hop aroma. Big aroma. Faint malt. On tasting, it is medium high in bitterness. It could stand to be kicked up a notch. The malt is nice, touch sweet and supportive. Resiny hop flavors at the finish, not my favorite. A bit light overall on the palate which detracts. Still, solid NW style IPA.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy deep golden, small head. Lychee aroma. Sweet and bready with medium body with well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of sweaty lychee. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle from Whole Foods Henderson, NV
Hazy amber color with generous head. The hoppy aroma is partially fruity, nice. Medium body strength; good malt and toffee flavor, with resiny hops. Long final.
Good, bitter, but easy and too caramelly, therefore hiding the qualities of the hop.

Dark and cloudy orange pour from bottle at Gsp. Sticky head. Mild and subtle aroma. Very dry and bitter, tons of hops which I love. Dominated by that. Can't complain! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle: Just a sip right out of the bottle: need to retaste this to really rank it, but wanted it in my database. Nice hop profile iwth citrus, spruce and herbal notes present. Smooth drinking and finish. Would LOVE to drink this more.

Very dry, great floral aroma! Good color and goes great in a snifter. Too bad I can't find this in Texas! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at ÖÖWF 2012. Fresh and fruity hoppy smell. Similar taste with fruity hops. Sharp bitterness. Awsome summer beer.

Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, medium thick off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma has some patented resiny spruce notes, floral notes in the back end. Flavor is solid IPA with plenty of citrus grapefruit bittersweet notes, some maple syrup notes. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Solid west coast IPA - liking what I see from this brewer.

12 oz single from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in Salem. $1.39 Pours a slightly darker burnt orange then usual, with a large rocky dirty white head, that fades fast and leaves large amounts of lace down the glass. Slightly resinous hop aromas, with a good doze of caramel from the malts. A nicely balanced IPA in taste. Sure the hops are there but they are equaled by a strong caramel malt. Nice strong mouthfeel to this one. Overall a nice IPA and very drinkable.
