Nice floral aroma, clear copper pour with a pillowy white head. Taste is pine and citrus, with a resinous finish. The finish is quick, but not dry. A solid IPA.

Aroma is strong and hoppy. Lots of grapefruit initially and it becomes rather catty at times as well. Some dough and pale malt sweetness. Pours golden, hazy, decent creamy head and lace. The flavor starts with some grapefruit, moves through some cat and some feety funk, pale malt backbone, lightly sweet. Long lingering hop notes. Nice and hoppy, light malt just how I like it, but the hops are a little too catty. Not bad.

Bottle from Samís in Durham. Pours golden/amber with a thin white head. Nose is oily and resiny. Pine and citrus. Similar taste. A bit too resiny for me.

(12oz bottle about 5 days old) clear bright gold, lasting creamy off white head, and nice lacing. Nose is super fresh, pineapple, ruby red grapefruit, papaya. Taste is less tropical and more English, cracker, grapefruit, light pine, and light butter. Oily body, mild bitter linger but pretty balanced in general.

Nice aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Pours crystal clear reddish gold with a white foamy head the almost completely dissipates. Tastes piney with citrus flavor. Sadly this is almost a metallic note to the flavor that I canít get past. This is a pretty good beer but doesnít live up to AleSmith/Ballast Point Sculpin that they were obviously shooting for.
