On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a lightly hazed amber orange with a thin white head. Big sticky pungent hops, earth and grapefruit. Toast, malt, earthy malt and pungent hops. Bitter grapefruit, pith, lots of quinine and grapefruit. Tasty and well balanced.

A very tasty and impeccably well balanced IPA. Great malt notes with complex hoppiness. Pours a medium-dark golden with a frothy head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft, Thirsty Moose Dover location. Murky gold with lasting head in a tulip. Aromas are heavy malt; bready, biscuit, caramel. Hints of pine hops. Flavor is moderately sweet with a low bitterness. Finish is again sweet with light pine and citrus hop flavors. Medium body, dry texture with a lively carbonation level. My overall thoughts: Either this keg took long to get tapped and sat around orÖ I have been drinking too many bold DIPAís because this just very mediocre.

bottle, picked up at thirsty in singapore. strong example of the style - arom of pine, lychee and grapefruit; plenty of bitterness, tropical sweetness; nicely executed

12 oz bottle purchased at Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg VA. Pours a clear dark golden/orange with rapidly fading white head that left moderate lacing. Aroma is oxidized hop bitterness, this is clearly not fresh. Flavor is mildly bitter hops and sweet malt. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Iíd like to try fresh.

Growler, A good fruity IPA. Not too thick but pours with a nice frothy head. I would definitely recommend trying this if you happen to wander across it.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a a bright golden orange, a bit hazy with 2 fingers of lacy head and good carbonation. Aroma is ripe orange, mango, peach, earthy hops and pine. Flavor is lots of sweet citrus up front with a slowly escalating hop bitterness towards the back. Some resiny earthy hops and grapefruit to go with the slightly bitter aftertaste. Some sweetness lingers in between. Definitely a first rate IPA, reminds me a bit of a Bells Two Hearted.

Pours an orange-ish gold with a medium head. Tangy and bitter, with pine and citrus notes. Not the best IPA Iíve had, but not the worst, either.

December 20th, 20120 - After the Baba Black comes Uintaís Hop Notch IPA (now named the Hop Nosh.) Itís a dramatically poised bear, with a conical head that looks like the hats from the Safety Dance music video, lumbering atop a murky, hazy orange marmalade colored beer. The smell radiates from this cone of foam, filled with cotton candy, pine and smells of chinook, wet fall leaves and cloves. The body is of medium weight with medium carbonation, which amps up a little at the end with a sudden burst of strength and effort, even if the aftertaste is short. The flavor at the beginning of the sip relies a little more on pine notes to carry the day but is otherwise flat on flavor. The mid-taste introduces some potpourri floral elements, and the aftertaste brings in some unripe, bitter grapefruit. So, bitter fans might enjoy this. While I appreciate the foamís spectacle, itís not my favorite style to drink.
