COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a lightly hazed amber orange with a thin white head. Big sticky pungent hops, earth and grapefruit. Toast, malt, earthy malt and pungent hops. Bitter grapefruit, pith, lots of quinine and grapefruit. Tasty and well balanced.

Appearance: pours with a medium but very dense beige head, the beer is a slightly hazy average gold color with an orange hue to it Aroma: kind of faint under the dense head, cream, hints of grass Taste: strong malt backbone, malt is a caramel roasted flavor, similar to dales pale ale, bitter finish Palate: average carbonation, medium to heavy mouthfeel, slightly bitter aftertaste Overall: this is a strong beer, very strong malt backbone, I feel like the malt leads this beer and the hops are there to counter it, the bitterness is there buts fangs are taken our by the strong maltiness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The best by date on the bottle listed 12/1/14. Pours ruddish gold, small head. Smell is biscuit, caramel, a little floral. Flavor is strong grapefruit and citrus peel with a big malt presence. Pretty tasty.

I like it. It has IPA taste, but light. 82 IBU. 75 characters is stupid. Why can't I just give stars and be done fast like Netflix? I'm dinking beer for gosh sakes! There, 75, geez. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from draught (at Draught 55). As advertised - an excellent hop forward ale that makes an enjoyable drink.

I didn't get much in the front. Mildly bitter. No malt flavor, which is good. Bitter in the middle and mildly bitter at the finish. I am a floral or citrus IPA fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Citrusy, mouth-drool inducing olfactory perfection Appearance: Deep amber, with clingy lacing coating the glass Taste: Superbly balanced grapefruit citrus lets the hops be at the forefront without being overwhelming. Palate: So smooth, at an ideal ABV, this is session stuff for me. Overall: I can’t find any fault with this brew and I’m let down every time I try other IPAs (frequently).

This IPA poured a golden colour with minimal head. Scents include grass and citrus hops. First swig was powerful in the hop dept. light caramel and hay also there. Finish is quite bitter with hop flavour lingering.
