Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

The brewers explanation of this beer is spot on. Pours an amber-golden color with an outstanding sudsy white-ish head that laces the glass, circles the top of the beer and sits nicely. Aroma is balanced, moderately floral and malty sweet. Flavor is clean and floral up front with a "strong malt backbone" for balance and an earthy hop finish. A real nice flavorful IPA that is not over the top in any way.

Bright tangerine hops, sugary citrus, slightly floral aroma; hazy orange color, thin off white crown; floral and citrus hops, fresh hops, hair enough malt, but a bit soapy in the finish; medium body, slick mouthfeel; good, but not really that great. Draught at Marty’s Hops & Vines in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear copper to orange color. Has a medium sized white head. The aroma is all hops with some citrus. The taste is a big hop rush with some citrus at the end. An outstanding beer.

It was hot out and this IPA hit the spot. Had it on draft at Citizen Burger in Carytown.

Can. Hazy amber. Citrus zest aroma. Bitter, citrus peel and the slightest oxidation (old can). Medium body, fizzy, a little green and bitter finish. Nice.

A really tasty IPA from a solid brewery. This one clocks in at 7%+ but you would never really tell, really nice balance and of course the hops plow through the taste. Nothing crazy going on here -- just a solid IPA. And that’s not bad at all.

This IPA is a little more complex than I’d have thought, and I enjoyed it. It pours dark orange in color, there’s a lot of foamy head. The aroma is sweet citrus, like tangerines. Then the sweetness is understated in the flavor, and there’s a decent little bitter bite going on. Nice.

Can - Nice sweet caramel notes, citrus and some peel. Clear copper with a rich beige ehad. Lots of malt and some nice citrus with a good amount of bitterness. Solid old school IPA.
