COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium-bodied golden ale is brewed with local wildflower honey. Full-flavored beer. Rich. Robust. Bittersweet beginning. Quickly mellows, leaving the palate with a subtle hint of honey. Hive pairs well with cedar-plank salmon, and, if you have a sweet tooth, baklava.

Appears dark gold in color with almost no head at all. Smells faintly of the advertised honey. Taste is dry and faintly malty but not particularly honey flavored. Medium bodied with moderate quantity of CO2. Would be hard pressed to name honey as an ingredient in a blind taste test. Not a poor beer but nothing great here.

12 ounce bottle. Orange like in color. Slight woody off taste followed by just a bit of honey. Bit of a letdown from a brewery I really like. Not my favorite of their beers.

[March 2014] (like an illiterate fool I accidentally entered this under Wyld.)
12 oz. bottle best before June 3, 2014 from Chamberís Liquor. Pours a crystalline copper with a tall white head. The nose is very clean and balanced. Pretty impressed with the clarity of aromas here. There is natural honey, earthy Euro-type hopping and light notes of barley. The flavor is pretty crisp with a pleasant, woody, papery hop bite that just peaks out a little beyond the natural honey sweetness. This is definitely not something I would drink often, but for a sessionable honey golden ale, this is about as good as it can get.

Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy amber color with a small white head on it. Nose is light, and all I can get is a bit of honey with some subtle grain elements to it. Taste is light and surprisingly dry, with some hints of non-sweet honey to it. Odd.

Very nice golden honey color (appropriate for the brew I suppose), the aroma isnít much to speak of, but the taste is nice. I like the faint hint of honey, and itís smooth with mild carbonation.

Bottle. Smell is hard to place. Pours light orange. Tastes like a regular beer with a faint hint of honey. Head is off white with big bubbles on the edges. Itís a decent beer but it doesnít stand out to me.

12-oz. Pours a clear medium amber with minimal white head. Bland reedy honey nose, plus a little bit of light brown bread crust. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Crusts and pale honey on the mid palate, with an odd grassy finish.

Poured from a bottle. Suttle hint of honey, slightly watered down. Ok for an organic beer.

Bottle. Clear golden color, toast and nuts aroma, a little watery across the palate with lingering bread notes. Maybe a little honey in there but it definitely not a strong characteristic.

Big fan of Uinta, not so much this particular brew... Pours a hazy light amber with a flimsy white head. Aroma is interesting (borderline bad): some hay, some cereal, grassy hops, stronger basement aromas, damp leaves, very slight rotten egg. Taste is fairly balanced with a nod towards sour/bitter. Lingering bitter finish. NOT a big fan.

Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a fizzy one finger off-white head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is quite sweet with a good deal of honey. Other than the honey, thereís just a bit of bready malt. The flavor is equally sweet with a lot of honey. Tastes like a pound of honey dissolved in water. Finishes with a slight earthy note that reminds me a bit of buckwheat. Thereís not all that much to this one, rather light bodied with fine fizzy carbonation.
