COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the highest point in the State of Utah at 13,528 feet, Kings Peak is located in the Uinta Mountains, a major east-west mountain range in northeastern Utah. Kings Peak Porter lives up to its name by being big on flavor and complexity. It pours a rich, dark mahogany hue and is complimented by a creamy tan-colored head. Dark chocolate, toasted malt, and coffee may be detected in its nose.

Another top ten porter in my beer book, robust, malts and hops right to the front. Roasty and toasty and maybe a little smokey. Yum.

5.3% ABV It pours a nice mahogany color and has a full-bodied malted, slight chocolate, and dry roasted flavor Topped with a tan creamy head. Itís fairly hoppy for a porter. This is one of my favorite porters.

This is a porter to end all porters. (It recently won gold at the GABF for the schwartzbier category.) Very smokey and roasty. A good clean flavor. Nice deep red color. And a terrific head. Just a perfect porter in my opinion.

Roasty malt aroma and flavor; kind of chocolate-y, and sort of a "burnt" character (I mean that in a good way). Well balanced with some caramel and sweet flavors. Moderate bitterness. A little astringent, maybe? Maybe my favorite American Porter.

People who like their porters BOLD will not care for this one. However, it could be a candidate for a popular porter. Very mild in taste for this style of beer but quite enjoyable. Pours nice and has fine aroma. I look forward to the next one.

A very nice deep dark baltic porter. Very little carbonation or head but a subtle light brown lace coats the top on the first swill. Smell reminds me intially of a nice oyster stout with a seaweed finish.. The porter has a nice bitter taste with tons of flavor. Exceptional roasted flavor with a nice smokey taste that is not overbearing. Strength of porter could be a bit higher, but overall very drinkable. Can drink this porter anytime of year. Would go exceptionally well with a nice bowl of steamed oysters!
