This beer poured with almost no head, even though I used a glass that elicits lots of foam usually. Its a clear pour, no murkiness near the end, so it seems like a filtered product. There are small and sparse visible bubbles traveling throughout the beer. The aroma hits you strong with a sweet Belgian yeast and candy character followed by a hefty clove character. It is not subtle, it hits your nose and sticks around. A bit of a malted cereal character just sitting back there as well. Taste is candy sweetness with lots of esters in there. The esters are not distinct, some light banana, some light bubblegum, just a general ester character. Finishes of drier than expected, but not dry. A slight herbal character as well. A faint hop character is felt in the light bitterness at the back end to round it off. I can see why this beer gets such low ratings but this is my type of beer. In general I like the Belgian character and when it is a bit too sweet its still fine. Again, I like the right kind of overly sweet beer and a Belgian sweetness is alright by me.
12oz, bottled on 09/03/08, couldnít tell it was that old, in a Duvel tulip glass.

Bottle. After having tried another beer by this maker that I enjoyed (Punkín), I thought Iíd grab a bottle of this and see what was up. Golden body when poured with a small white head. The body has a medium feel. The taste has lots of hops. A bit of a caramel taste at first, with some spice and fruit to the taste. The finish is mild instead of bitter, a relatively weak finish but I think that suits this beer fine. This is actually a very accessible, easy-to-drink beer. Maybe not the best of its variety, but I think Iíd introduce people to it who wanted to find a good starter. Would def. grab another bottle! 6.8% alcohol.

Aroma is fairly strong, fruity and yeasty with floral and malt undertones. It pours a clear solar yellow with a thick white head that dissipates rather quickly. Smooth flavor is malty and mellow with a floral undertone and a nice fruity hint that is mainly pear. Texture is smooth, a little thick, and rather fizzy. Pretty good!

Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light fruit and clove nose, flavor is yeasty light sweet fruit and light hops. Good Belgian blond but Leffe is better. Bottled Jun 12, 2012, 12oz bottle from Gift Specialists Oceanside, California.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a fast-fading white head. It has a yeasty, fruity aroma. The flavor is sweet with esters and a pleasant fruit character leading into a somewhat dry finish. Itís medium bodied and very enjoyable.

Bottle pour. Pours a light golden color with a nice lemon spice aroma. A little coriander maybe too. Fizzy white head all throughout. Really mild flavored Belgian ale, but really nice refreshing flavor. Nice, easy drinking beer. Finishes with just the right amount of pepper spice. Tasty beer.

12 oz, bb 5/23/08. Absolutely clear (and no sediment in the bottle at all!) orange-copper with a large, lasting head. Aromas of metallic apple, caramel and spicy clove-banana. Flavor is tart apple, funky caramel and grain, bitterish dry wheat, earthy cinnamon and clove. Light-medium body is slightly tingly and dry with a touch of chest-warming alcohol in the finish. Interesting beer that seems to put sort of an English Ale twist on the Belgian style.

Itís funny how many Utah beers Iíve had mainly because of my connections there. Brought back from Brotherbrando: Pours a super hazey golden colour with a large creamy, spicey, white head. Very effervescent, it maintains its carbonation all throughout the beer. Aroma is very tropical, an abundance of bananna, pineapple fruits. Taste is soft and spicey, mouthfeel creamy and full- with that crazy carbonation it just keeps bubbling up. Thanks pal!

Pours with a nice, foamy, frothy, medium sized, off white head that lasts a bit and no lace. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, and a bit of fruit which is alltogether mild as a whole. Flavor is a little bubblegum and white wine, a little fruity sweet. not too bad. Body is good and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and of short length; alcohol is hidden pretty well.
