3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Supermarket Liquors. Pours amber with a foamy off-white head. Nutmeg/pie spice aromas. Medium body with mildly foamy carbonation. Flavor is mostly spice, but it’s low enough that I think I can get some punkin/squish/veg. Finishes spice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: The pour is a lightly hazed dark amber/copper color with a finger of off-white head.
S: Pretty much what you would expect. Heavy on the pie spices such as all-spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. There might be a little bit of vanilla in there, but minimal pumpkin. Plenty of toasted malt and caramel, too.
T: The flavor is very similar to the aroma with plenty of spice character. Heavy on the pie spice flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and all-spice. Creamy caramel and toasted bread add a nice sweetness.
M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
O: A rather well done pumpkin beer, I thought, at least. Certainly better than a lot of the other ones out there.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (wheat bread, sugar cookie, nutty), light hops (herbs), average yeast (earth, warm dough) with notes of nutmeg, pumpkin, cinnamon, and cardamom. Medium bodied, creamy and lightly sticky texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. The aroma is almost promising while the body does not quite live up to the hype created by the aroma.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle from douglas88...thanks! Pours a nice amber color. Aroma is muted, but there are spices and some pumpkin there. Flavor is light and pretty smooth. Refreshing and easy to drink. I like my pumpkin beers to have more body and to be bolder, but this one is still pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Smells terrific, like carrot cake or pumpkin roll. Medium to full-bodied and almost chewy with tingly carbonation. The flavor leans barely on the sweet side of balance and is nicely spiced. Toffee stands out. Finishes crisp and then lightly sweet. One of the top three pumpkin ales I’ve ever tried. I understand many people don’t like pumpkin ales, but I gotta go way against the grain on this one. Big thanks to Douglas88 for floating this one my way!
