1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Generally with a pumpkin ale I expect a good smell, but this was the worst smelling pumpkin ale I have ever had. It smelled a little like a dead fish. The taste was slightly better that the smell, but not by much. The quality of the beer is sub-standard for this style.
It had a good head and even better head retention.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Unitas Punk’n is a mostly clear bright copper brew with a firm head of tan bubbles. Nose is a good amount of spice with the malty slightly musty pumpkin earthiness. Taste is a good spice hit on the front with malt and a slight sweetness that carry through to the end. good balance without being overpowering. finishes with just a bit of pumpkin lingering.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
If you like this style, you’ll like this...The aroma is pretty good with lots of spice, but this is certainly not my favorite beer by any measure. It’s very spicy and what you might it expect--and well executed just not my mug of taste. Plenty of pumpkin pie notes are found in the flavor but somewhat over shadowed by the spices. Finish just leaves you not wanting too much more...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
can at 5%abv - known to be one of the lighter of its type - aroma isn’t big with some molasses, baked cinnamon, bread, and cooked vegetables -- flavor has a light and clean molasses/brown sugar presence with various spices coming through in small amounts with some tangy and earthy vegetation - overall nothing too offensive - a clean, simple, light, spiced pumpkin brew

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from Party Town. Pours a clear orange on the darker side of the spectrum, with a small off-white head that lasts as a ring and film and leaves a pretty good amount of lace. Notes of roasted pumpkin, nutmeg, brown sugar, light allspice and cinnamon, and a leafy, earthy note. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Clean and delicate for the style. Doesn’t hit you over the head with anything, which is probably why it’s so underrated.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Pumpkin pie right out of the oven; clove cigarettes; nutmeg/allspice and a touch of cinnamon. Appearance: Murky tinted copper color with lively carbonation; slight tan head settles into a solid skin. Flavor: Roasted pumpkin and clove are most noticeable up front; cinnamon shows up mid-palate; has a lingering spicy and lightly bitter finish. Palate: Light body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: A pretty nice pumpkin beer that’s worth your time.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, best before 02/18/15. Nose is heavy spice soup with a meaty, brothy, socky dankness that I don’t like. Pours red-orange with minimal carbonation and a tight beige head; pretty, actually. Taste medium-bitter with light-medium sweetness, the normal rogue’s gallery of spices and the rarer appearance of actual pumpkin, though it’s a bit too vegetal. Light maltiness, light caramel, low but present alcohol, not really any hops, somewhat crisp. Not bland, but not memorable (and too much with the spices, guys, seriously!).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at my local watering hole. Served in a standard bar pint glass. Poured copper/orange with a minimal off white head. Light pumpkin and caramel aroma. Flavor is light pumpkin/vegetal with some graham cracker and mild spice. Light sweetness. Medium bodied. All in all, pretty good.
