Harvest the flavors of fall with a bottle opener and a stroll down the craft-brewed beer aisle. Four+ Punk’n Ale is the pick of the crop with notes of roasted pumpkin and seasonal spices. Savory. Crisp. The sweetness is in the celebration, not on the palate.

Pours a nice rich copper color with creamy, strong off-white head. Pumpkin-squash notes in the aroma with sweet bread and light spice notes. Full mouthed, moderately sweet, lightly spiced, with good balance of pumpkin and spices. Really an excellent pumpkin/fall beer; I believe this one is underrated.

Sampled from the bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of musty grain and biscuit with pumpkin spice underlying. Flavor has lots of earthy grain and biscuit with a touch spice.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear, medium/dark amber color, beige head cover, lots of lace dots. Taste is malt with hay, very light nutmeg, and only a hint of bitter pumpkin. The overall impression is of raw, un-milled grain, giving a pleasant, unrefined character. Interesting.

Poured from bottle into pint glass, clear light orange with a moderate head. Smelled of pumpkin pie spices. Mild taste of cinnamon cloves and maybe nutmeg. Tasted watered down with thin carbonation and a metalic aftertaste.

Good brown color rich. Mild spice aroma. It has a wheaty beer flavor and not too much pumpkin flavor.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Big three inch off white head thins down slowly. Good amount of lacing.Beer is orange in color. Aroma is pumpkin squash. Taste is very lightly sweet with good notes of pumpkin or squash with very light notes of spice. Beer is light bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Pretty good pumpkin ale especially if you like them with little or no spice.

Single bottle from a mix pack. Pours a hazy copper, small but creamy head with a little clumpy lacing. Mild aroma of baking spices and pumpkin filling. Similarly mild flavor - the elements are all there, but they don’t amount to much. Thin mouthfeel also lends to the overall sense of being watered down. Not a fan.
