COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest the flavors of fall with a bottle opener and a stroll down the craft-brewed beer aisle. Four+ Punk’n Ale is the pick of the crop with notes of roasted pumpkin and seasonal spices. Savory. Crisp. The sweetness is in the celebration, not on the palate.

Bottle. The pour was a murky medium amber brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) creamy white head that was fully diminishing but left behind some nice spotty residue which allowed for some good lacing that was left sticking to the glass. The aroma was very light of a toasted biscuit malt and a sweet doughy yeast with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin. It tasted mildly sweet with just a hint of cinnamon and brown sugar in the beginning and finished mildly bitter with a note of nutmeg and a pumpkin presence at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration after the swallow, then faded quickly. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and watery yet slightly dry in texture with a prickly carbonation. Overall a refreshingly mild brew with a nice dose of flavor that is not overdone.

Juice subtle pumpkin ale. Light on the ABV and not an overwhelming pumpkin taste. Pours a rich amber orange tint that is clear in texture. Little bit of a sour after taste but not very noticeable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Caramel and toffee body followed by a light pumpkin spice. This is pumpkin by spice for sure. Ok overall.

Can. Pours a luminescent amber-orange with a high, large-grained, buff head. Nose is pumpkin, smoke, roast malt, strong tea, barley sugar, and a touch of soy miso. Nicely savory on the tongue; not sweet, but rather richly vegetal with more tea and soy. Puts me in mind of miso-roasted sweet potatoes or buttered squash. Great roundness on a long, roasty finish. Sensible restraint on a very good beer.

Aroma of all spice, orange color no head. A watery feel with a pumpkin spice taste and a weak spice palate.

Poured into shaker. Pours a soft copper with light khaki head, two fingers high with pretty good staying power. Aroma - sweet pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices - mostly nutmeg and clove. Taste - dominated by spices and a some resinous hops with some sweetness from pumpkin underneath. Not really typical of style with this much hop flavor.

It’s alright. Aroma is sort of sweet and spicy. You can smell some pumpkin. Taste is alright too. Kind of spicy, and a little bitter. There’s some pumpkin flavor but its kind of weird. Not bad.

Good for a pumpkin beer. Orange pour with ok head and lacing. Sweet finish. Tap at Snallygaster.

6 oz draft pour at Snallygaster 2014 shared by someone. Orange brown with off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin and spices. Tastes of pumpkin, light spices, herbs. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

A most mild pumpkin brew. Burnt malt complexion, pumpkin, spice. Bread or cereal backbone. Medium body, goes down kinda rough. It isn’t sweet but that is ok. Bitter finish.
