Straight off the bat, fresh strong hop aroma and taste, good sessionablility. From a can it pours a lightly hazed pale orange, quick head, leaves some good lace. Fresh citrus floral and pine aromas. Very hoppy flavor with mild malts, light breadyness. Subdued carmel sweetness,light-light med body, surprising malt backbone on this session. I like this, nice hopppy light session beer. Had initial low expectations, its gooooood.

afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Bottle courtesy Ibrew2or3. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of light pale malt, and floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Decent.

gunhaver (1030) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Bottle courtesy Ibrew2o3. Golden pour, pale, frothy filmy white head, sticky lacing. Very piney nose, bitter hops. Pretty one-sided there. Malty flavors, but subdued, some acidity, slight hops. Tastes decent, but fairly mild and boring, but still drinkable.

jrodooo5 (1018) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Aroma is kind of full of hops & floral scents. Appearance is a slightly cloudy burnt orange with basically no head. It does leave some nice lacing. The taste, however, is a different story. Thereís some decent hop character up front but itís followed by flavorless dryness. Essentially no taste after the initial hop front. Iím in no way, shape, or form a fan.

Barreras (980) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a orange yellow color with a floral aroma. Taste is fruity and light surprisingly light for a pale ale. Mild hoppy aftertaste which makes it drinkable.

BlackForestCO (977) - Aurora, Colorado, USA - APR 15, 2009
Bottle shared by Crosling. Poured a clear golden color with a thin white head that faded to a layer and left some spots of lacing. Aroma of stale graham cracker, butter, and overwhelming horse manure. Crisp, lightly bitter entry leads into an empty, dead middle until you are hit with a lingering aftertaste of corn and rotten stewed vegetables. Moderate carbonation and a light, watery mouthfeel. This beer was pretty gross, so much so that we thought something may have happened during shipment that could have ruined it, but we had others from the brewery that came in the same shipment that didnít show any signs of problems, so I guess it just is bad.

on tap, pours a nice crystal gold with a good head, laces well. nice malty nose, some yeast, and dough. thin body, clean malty yeasty taste, lite finish.

scarletfire65 (955) - Rockaway Park, New York, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Clear golden amber, with a huge foamy head, leaves plenty of thin lacing. The aroma is subdued, but it is mostly floral and spicy hops, with some creamy tangerine notes. Light bodied, thin palate, high carbonation. Not much depth of flavor, but nicely hopped, and very clean. The 4% ABV is appreciated. Very sessionable.

Brouwerij (929) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle. Pours an ever so slightly cloudy straw color. Finger of off-white head, settles in minutes with a little lacing. Aroma is mildly hoppy, bitter, mildly resinous. Flavor is hoppy, mildly bitter throughout. Soft-moderate carbonation, light body and crisp clean texture. A pretty good pale ale.

tennessejed420 (927) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 8, 2010
bottle. Pours golden orange with white head. Somewhat hoppy aroma, herbal and floral. Flavor is lightly hoppy, soft citrus orange and lime floral, but pretty balanced, good malt backbone and by no means a hopped up beer. Palate is medium to thin, although I wouldnít go so far as to call this watery. Well itís not the best pale ale Iíve had but I wouldnít go so far as to say it sucks. Itís not bad, especially as a session given the lightness of palate and low alcohol.
