A little bit of a gusher. Poured a clear golden color with a few floaters in the bottom of the bottle. Head was very large with a lot of big bubbles. Aroma was some nice citrus hops but also a lot of cereal, corn flakes and wheat yeast? Flavor was like a mix between a pale lager and an IPA. Not terrible, but a little thin on the palate. Pretty "meh" sort of beer.

Can. Pours a hazy, bright gold with a high, large-grained, lacy white head. Nose is grapefruit, lime, and a touch of salinity. Citric on the tongue, with lemon and a touch of saltiness; crisp and very clean, with a bitter finish that shades more into grapefruit. Really easy to drink, and really refreshing. Enjoyable.

A - Pours a clear golden-yellow color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down fairly quickly leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a light mix of citrus hop and some lemon zest. There is some sweet biscuit malt in the background as well. T - Sweet biscuit malts with some citrus hop and light bitterness. Through the middle, some bready malts and some lemon come through. Finish is a mix of biscuit and some lemon zest. M - Medium-light bodied with moderate lively carbonation. Smooth and very crisp. D - Very drinkable. The flavors could be a bit stronger, but this is a very sessionable beer.

Pours a nice golden color with a small white head. Aroma is malt, touch of hops, grains, water. Flavor is malt, water, biscuit, touch of hop bitterness and a little caramel and spices. Decent for a pale lager.

Cloudy golden color with white head. Citrus aroma with pineapple, papaya, and biscuit malt herbal finish. Really light watery citrus flavor with pineapple, some mineral chewiness, and grapefruit finish. Tastes nice but is too watery.

Bottle given to me by the host of the Super Bowl party I attended. Clean malt bill with some wheaty dryness. Solid, clean pale ale.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale orange with a small white head. Aroma of cheesy older hops, some grainy notes, a bit sweet with caramel and bread, though mostly stale hops giving it a funky note. Flavor is much the same, stale funky hops that give a cheesy character to the grainy and straw notes. Finishing with some bready graininess. Light to medium body and a sharp carbonation. Pretty nasty, stale tasting stuff.

Bottle from 16 Tons. Hazy yellow-orange head with about a half inch of white foam. Grainy aroma with some light citrus and herbal hops. Citrus, lemon, floral hops with a grainy backbone make up the flavor. Mediocre brew, but not bad by any means.

VTHopHead (1511) - Barre, Vermont, USA - OCT 23, 2011
Bottle/12oz - Pours a golden amber in color with a small white head that faded quickly. Aroma is not strong, but elements of toffee/caramel, estery fruits, some grassy hops and a slightly unpleasant "starchy" character. Flavor includes some bready yeast, toffee/carmel malts and grassy hops. The "starchiness" persists and greatly detracts from the experience... not good, from a brewer that can do *much* better...
