Draft sample. Pale, almost yellow beer color with a thin head. A big citrus and pine hop smell to it. I usually find the organic beers lacking, but this settles in with a little more hop than malt. American hops are there, not in extreme, but straightforward hop bitterness. Only possible ding comes from a slightly watery mouthfeel.

Pours a pale yellow with with large white head. Lots of hops with citrus, grass, and spruce with hints of hay. A very nicely balanced extra pale ale with medium bitter and sweet. It has a medium body with a somewhat thin texture and a barely noticeable bitterness. I really like this beer and it’s definitely pale ale you can enjoy in the summer. Not sure if I’d buy it in a bar at only 4%

Cloudy banana yellow. Looks gorgeous. Thick swatch of icy white head/lace. Aroma is hops that have, admittedly softened up a bit. (Best by date is January ’14, drank in August ’14.) Has that flowery, somewhat chlorine aroma. Perfectly pleasant. The flavor has pillowy malts, pollen-y hops. The feel is soft and creamy. It’s one of the better organic beers I’ve had, I have to say. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 3-15-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – Served an amber colored brew with a one finger pure white fluffy head. The head fades fast to a thin film leaving a very light level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is very light overall, but consists of some light bready smells as well as aromas of lighter fruits (apple, pear and orange) and citrus hop aromas of a more grapefruit and lemon variety. Taste – The taste begins with a bready and biscuit taste with an upfront showing of some citrus hop tastes of a grapefruit nature. As the flavors advance a light sweetness of brown sugar and honey comes to the tongue as well as a small amount of an orange and pear fruit taste. The brew by no means takes on a sweet taste at this point however, as some flavors of a more grassy and herbal hop as well as an intensification of the grapefruit hop come to the tongue. In the end one is left with a somewhat off slightly sweet and rather citrus bitter hopped bready taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is quite high with tons of fizzy carbonation bubbles. The feel is quite appropriate for the more session style of the brew and make it quite easy to drink. Overall – An alright APA, although there is something a bit off at the end of the taste with the combination of the bitter grapefruit hop and light honey and brown sugar sweetness, with the two combining in a not so harmonious fashion.

"An ok pale. Grass, bready malts and hints on tart and citrus. Pretty light but quaffable. Ultimately unexceptional, but about as expected. Light bodied with a lesser finish."

A mild bitter beer that is a bit light without much flavor. There isn’t much nose but wet cardboard hops.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball as part of a sampler. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a small white head. Notes of straw, lemon citrus, grass, pale and crackery malts, herbs, spice, and tea with a little sweetener. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, dry mouthfeel. Nothing special, but not bad. The artificial sweetener note holds it back; still, this seems a little underrated overall.

Yellowish pour with white foamy head. Can pour at square one. Grapefruit and malty taste. Grainy and earthy. Average at best.
