COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest the flavors of fall with a bottle opener and a stroll down the craft-brewed beer aisle. Four+ Punk’n Ale is the pick of the crop with notes of roasted pumpkin and seasonal spices. Savory. Crisp. The sweetness is in the celebration, not on the palate.

Bottle via SL... Nice dark red color... not much head. Nose of spices, pumpkin. Taste is a fresh pumpkin flesh taste... pumpkin seeds, crisp, little sweet in the after taste. Medium body, easy to drink. Enjoy the alcohol content with lots of flavor. Overall: Good pumpkin brew

Pours an orange pumpkin color which matches the aroma. Taste is straight pumpkin with spice mixed in. A tasty herb style of beer which dissipated quickly.

Cloudy carrot orange color, some very nice lacing on the side of the glass, it’s lovely. Spicy, bready carrot cake aroma. There is a touch of cooked vegetables. Touch of nutmeg and brown sugar. Nutty brown sugar flavors; the pumpkin comes out here, but it still manifests itself as a bready flavor. It is a wonderfully balanced flavor. It’s worth sipping, savoring. The feel is buttery and thick; perfect for style. If you like Southern Tier’s Pumking, this is probably the closest thing to it in this style.

Hazy, amber-brown with a white head. The aroma has nutmeg, cinnamon, and light pumpkin. It has a medium body with slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste begins mildly sweet and finishes with a little roasted flavor.

Bottle from Craftsman Ale House. No head or carbonation at all. Heavy pumpkin aroma. Sweet and slightly sour taste. Pretty tasty despite marginal appearance and aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beer #1 in our annual Halloween pumpkin beer tasting. 12 oz bottle. Nose is fairly typical for style, with lots of pie spices up front with the meaty aroma of actual pumpkin noticeable. Pours slightly hazy pumpkin orange with a medium off-white head with decent retention; leaves a little lace. Taste is sweet and savory, roasty; tastes like pumpkin pie, clove is strong. Body is medium to thin, mouthfeel creamy. This is tasting really good right now, but it’s my first pumpkin beer of the day. After tasting all the other ones we have lined up, I wonder if this one might not seem as impressive as it tastes right now. It’s a real straight-forward, yet well-crafted example of the style.

Pours a deep bronze color, little lacing is left on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel and spice. In the taste, mostly malt and pumpkin. A bit more hop influence than many examples of the style, with a hop/spice bite. Nutmeg, all spice and coriander dial in the holiday spices, but faint which makes for an easier drinking beverage. Nice malt and pumpkin flavor. Overall, a solid pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
