COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest the flavors of fall with a bottle opener and a stroll down the craft-brewed beer aisle. Four+ Punkín Ale is the pick of the crop with notes of roasted pumpkin and seasonal spices. Savory. Crisp. The sweetness is in the celebration, not on the palate.

Aroma: A toasted, salty aroma with hints of leather and herbs. Appearance: Clear amber with rich head. Taste: Light sweetness with salty finish. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Itís almost like they went for toasted, salted pumpkin seeds instead of pumpkin itself. Much too salty.

Poured clear amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma is pumpkin and sugar. Medium light mouthfeel which is appropriate for pumpkin ales. Taste was way off. Iím not sure if this was a bad batch but a definitely pronounced Dimethyl Sulfide off flavoring to this bottle. Overall, I see the potential that this beer has, but the DMS was a significant issue.

Bottle. Pours clear deep orange with off-white head. Smells like brown sugar, spices. Tastes bready, chocolate, citrus hops, earthy. Doesnít really do it for me, not much pumpkin going on, kinda like a bad brown.

It is what it is....a nice session seasonal. Pours a dark golden color with no head retention and slight lacing. Light pumpkin and spice aroma and taste. At 4% itís not intended to knock your socks off, but it is a pleasant, light, above average autumn ale. Cheers!

Organic which is nice but the spices are the same, you didnít do anything ot differentiate yourself there.

crhensel (136) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Poured a rich caramel color with no head. Very little aroma except for a little spice. A little fizzy in the mouth without any real taste of pumpkin or spices. However, this is a light tasting beer with a nice hoppy bite, just not what I would expect from a pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a real subtle beer, which is a shame. I am psyched for pumpkin beer (and everything else) season and wanted something bold. Still a good beer, though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle->willi. Light amber with medium foamy white head. Good, well-balanced spices, malt, grains. Short, crisp. OK.

Poured a clear amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is earthy, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Taste is pumpkin, vanilla, nutmeg, allspice, and a bittersweet finish. Overall pretty average.

Poured from bottle in to shaker. Copper Amber color little head. Very faint smell of pumpkin and spice. Subtle taste of spice mostly feel it in the finish. Smooth tasting beer. I liked it but not the best pumpkin ale I have had just due to the fact that the pumpkin and spice was so subtle. best before date 2/14/14
