COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest the flavors of fall with a bottle opener and a stroll down the craft-brewed beer aisle. Four+ Punkín Ale is the pick of the crop with notes of roasted pumpkin and seasonal spices. Savory. Crisp. The sweetness is in the celebration, not on the palate.

Overall, this is a great pumpkin beer. There is an inviting abundance of pumpkin, spice, and caramel in each sip. The finish is smooth and warm. I also enjoyed the plain and rustic packaging. While thatís not extremely important, itís a nice +1.

Wow, maybe one of the best pumpkins evers! Iím surprised its rated so low. Mild spicing of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Taste is of pumpkin and caramel malts. Palate finishes real sweet and sticky. The color is a nice clear orange. This was up there with dogfish head.

Oddly, this is a nice -chocolate- ale. Quite chocolaty on the nose and in taste. Reminiscent of Sonoran's whit chocolate ale. Pumpkin? Notsomuch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very tasty. Probably one of the best pumpkin beers I've tasted. The pumpkin isn't too overpowering either. Try it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light vegetable flesh, little brown sugar sweetness balanced with nutmeg, gentle. Amber gold. This pumpkin beer wins for me in its subtlety. The light blond base allows for the spices and vegetable to stand out without being aggressive. Wonderfully balanced.

Beer #1 in our annual Halloween pumpkin beer tasting. 12 oz bottle. Nose is fairly typical for style, with lots of pie spices up front with the meaty aroma of actual pumpkin noticeable. Pours slightly hazy pumpkin orange with a medium off-white head with decent retention; leaves a little lace. Taste is sweet and savory, roasty; tastes like pumpkin pie, clove is strong. Body is medium to thin, mouthfeel creamy. This is tasting really good right now, but itís my first pumpkin beer of the day. After tasting all the other ones we have lined up, I wonder if this one might not seem as impressive as it tastes right now. Itís a real straight-forward, yet well-crafted example of the style.
