3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy gold pour - effervescent body - nose is light - some light sweetness, mildly grassy hops, a little grain and corn husk - carbonation is soft - texture is moderately creamy - flavor is light and moderately tangy - some lemony notes - light grain and a moderate hop bite through the middle, with a touch of crackery malt - the finish brings a little bit of adjucnt-ish flavor (corn) and a light metallic character which detracts from my enjoyment a bit - I see potential here with a slight recipe tweak - I actually enjoy it a little more than my rating suggests, but I can let something with these flaws in the finish get a higher rating.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with light notes of metal, concrete, and DMS.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
While the hops are the most prominent aromatic component, sadly the other parts are pretty clunky and bring things down. Poor malt character and fairly industrial. Such a shame, because if this were clean it would be a very nice quaffer.

Pale golden with thin white lace. Nose is clean, light toasted malts, corn, grassy, light citrus hops. Flavor is a little soapy and metallic but not too bad for the style. Fairly crispy mouthfeel and a lightly grainy, light bitter, dry finish. Nice pale lager.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Musty aroma, clear, gold, lots of carbonation. Crisp with a finish that lingers and is a little stale. I am not a big fan of the style.
