Appealing Sorachi hops, an uncommon hop from Japan, balanced with lighter malts. Citrusy, fresh, clean. Sumír Organic Summer Ale pairs well with summer. It is an easy companion to most foods on the summer grill, such as chicken, fish, and burgers. Pairs well with curries and spicy foods. Try it with sushi!

One of the most mediocre beers Iíve had from Uinta. Crisp, but with a sharp and somewhat stale hop character. Maybe I just donít like Sorachi....

Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is grainy malt, floral, herbal spicy yeast. Light sweet maltiness with some light fruity flavors. Finishes with herbal yeastiness.

Pours a very pale gold-- almost green. Very vigorous carbonation. Giant rocky white head that dissipates to leave massive and intricate lacing. Nose is pretty boring-- faint grassy hops and pale malt. Bit of yeast. Taste is a bit better, but not by much. Pilsner-like quality to the hop profile. A bit of metal. Some crackery malt. Very light bodied. Hops are pretty subdued. Almost a dry ginger ale type quality to this beer. Unfulfilling and a bit rough. Finishes slightly astringent with a malt emphasis. Not great.

Pours a thin head on a clear light straw body. The aroma is faint to non-existent... a little grain. The taste is mild grain and lemon bitterness. Watery. The texture is crisp. Super easy drinker ícause itís like water.

From a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a carbonated straw with slight head. Skunky nose. Very mild taste. Somewhat of a wheaty taste with slimy mouth feel. Somewhat surprising compared to the nose. Not Jesus, not Judas, nor a Belgian ale.

The Sampler, Brooklyn can: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is butterscotch, fruity. Taste is light and hoppy at the top, but then the finish is all sorachi ace influenced butterscotch type flavors. Very nice and refreshing. I am not a huge fan of this varietal but this was good.

Bottle from Nikkiís Liquors. Clear golden - yellow pour with a rocky white head. Kind of bright, really. Aroma is mild grass, spice, biscuit. A bit of a sharp grassy bite early on taste that fades to a fairly smooth finish.

Pours light clear golden yellow with a white head. The aroma has cereal grains, mild sweetness, some floral hops, pale malt and a bit of bread. It has a medium / light crisp body with a mild amount of carbonation. The flavor starts out with pale pils-like malt, spicy hops, grass and snappiness. The finish is clean and refreshing. Nice summer beer for a hot day.

Refreshing easy drinking beer low on aromas and flavors. Ultimately too close to water but a superior alternative to all the big brand light beers.
