Appealing Sorachi hops, an uncommon hop from Japan, balanced with lighter malts. Citrusy, fresh, clean. Sumír Organic Summer Ale pairs well with summer. It is an easy companion to most foods on the summer grill, such as chicken, fish, and burgers. Pairs well with curries and spicy foods. Try it with sushi!

This is a nice warm weather drink...or so Iím imagining as the temperatures outside are dropping to the sub-zero level tonight. It has a pale yellow body with a substantial and lasting head. The aroma is warm bread dough with a quiet dosage of lemon. The flavor is a spritzy light lemon with a soft bready sweetness and a mild earthy bitterness. It has a clean, dry finish, leaving a tingly feeling in the mouth. Not bad at all.

Decent golden pour w/ a big fluffy head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is pretty faint but seems to have a mild hop/malt blend. The taste is malty for the most part. Itís pretty uninteresting but easily drinkable. Not exactly my cup of tea!

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/14/2013. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 2 finger dense bright white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, apple, cracker, bready grain, floral, grass, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt and hop notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, apple, cracker, bready grain, light honey, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, cracker, bready grain, light honey, floral, grass, herbal, and earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and moderate robustness of hop, malt, and fruity ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately dry mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a nice blonde ale style. Good balance of hop and malt flavors with moderate robustness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle Pours a clear bright yellow body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is light but fairly crisp with a lightly citrusy hoppiness and a clean pale malt base. The flavor is light and crisp as well, a nice lightly bitter floral hop note that balances the pale malt well. Very easy drinking and thirst quenching. Enough flavor to keep it interesting but not tiring for a long session. Light bodied and fizzy carbonation with a short crisp finish. Nice beer.

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount Liquors. Clear, yellow and golden with a white head and lacing. The aroma and flavor is straw, citrus, light bitterness, light sweet malts and grains. Light body and easy to drink. Pretty good for a summer beer.

Gold, clear, persistent white head. Aroma of grainy-sweet malt with a touch of caramel, a little light fruitiness. Flavor also features grainty-sweet malt, a little bready character, light floral hops, finishes dry and crisp. Clean and balanced, easy-drinking blonde ale.

A pretty good summer brew. light clear color. loving this hop they use, light bready malt and faint citrus aromas. Mostly lime. Clean cereal taste with touch of bitter. Crisp sharp body. A good beer to drink by a lake.

Slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin soapy white head. Light cereal/grass/hay aroma with a hint of floral perfume. Prickly carbonation keeps it very light with a light wheaty taste and a light lemony background. Very light honey sweetness with just a touch of earthy bitterness. Finishes clean and light with a whisper of the malt flavor. Everything about this beer is light and airy which makes it a nice summer beer, but not terribly interesting.
