Appealing Sorachi hops, an uncommon hop from Japan, balanced with lighter malts. Citrusy, fresh, clean. Sumír Organic Summer Ale pairs well with summer. It is an easy companion to most foods on the summer grill, such as chicken, fish, and burgers. Pairs well with curries and spicy foods. Try it with sushi!

Pours a light somewhat wimpy color. White head that doesnít linger. Just sort of a light, refreshing summer beer with not much too it. definitely some better "summer" offererings from other breweries that I would choose over this one. Might pair well with sushi as the brewer suggests....nice for a hot summer afternoon and probably not much else. Had in a bottle from zillies.

Pours light, clear, and golden with a quickly dissipating head. Nose has notes of grass, hay and farmland. Taste is bubbly upfront, with a malty, grassy middle and a citrus hops finish. On the palate this beer is bubbly and playful with a malty aftertaste. This beer is one of the better "summers" I have had and could be very sessionable.

This pours a semi-cloudy yellow color with a thick, frothy head. The aroma is weaker with a hint of wheat and citrus. The flavor is on the weak side, not a whole lot going on. Very smooth and easy drinking though. I would have figured a craft beer like this would have more flavor.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a head white. Aroma is a weak citrus hop with some malt in the background. Light body, taste continues with the hops and malt theme. Finish is clean. Not bad.

Disappointingly average. Weak in flavor, lightweight, bordering on sour. Nothing really memorable, except note to self: Do not buy again.

Bottle. Light to moderate grain for the malt, light herbs for the hops, with a hint of faint peach in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with spotty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is pale yellow amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic. Palate is light, watery, with a lively carbonation. A drinkable Golden Ale, but nah.

Can consumed in Denver with willyP and wanderkate. Golden in color with a hoppy aroma. Taste has a slight grain and earthy note but feels right on a hot summer day. Mild citrus and hops are the primary flavor features. Little bit of bitterness towards the end but overall a dependable if not overly impressive low alcohol variety.
