COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two weeks ago the guys at Uinta decided to try something new, take one batch of Wyld Extra Pale and do a special, one of a kind edition. For this special edition Uinta acquired a shload of fresh Simcoe hops, enough to average 4lbs of hops per barrel of beer ( 1 beer barrel = 31 gallons). The result, we hope is one citrusy, resinous and sessionable sombitch! The "wet" in Wet n Wyld refers to the state of the hops. Most hops are dried to eliminate weight and spoilage, these are fresh off the vine, wet as nature made them. Wet n Wyld is draft only (no bottles) and will be available at the breweries pub and those pubs and bars that tend to give a shit about good local beer.

Draft at Snallygaster on October 13th, 2012. Special edition of Uinta Wyld, has a nice piney hop aroma, and the dry hopping adds a nice extra dimension. Great flavor for 4% beer!

Shared by my friend Dan. Pours dark golden with an attractive white head and a floral aroma. There is a smooth pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish. Lots of flavor.

A very nice ipa. Very fruity, some apple and a ton of citrus. Almost tart. Cloudy and orange. Tried this at the DC beerfest with Jess, Mark, and Matt in 2014.

One of the early highlights of the beer festival. Pours cloudy light orange with good head and lacing. Some light bretta and some sour apple/cherry feel. Some hops and mash malt. Ingredients mix well. Finishes with light tangy sourness. Tap at DC Beer festival.

Draft into lager glass at Madrones in Frederick, MD. Slight orangy-golden color with white head. Aroma of citrus/herbal/grassy/earthy hops and fruity yeast notes. Taste leans more fruity hops (less bitter then aroma led on), bready and slight caramel note. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp yet somewhat creamy, with sweet bitter finish. Somewhat thin yet complex aromas/flavors, nice session APA.

Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

On tap at Dutchs. Keg is best before Jan 25 2014. Totally clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Couple ropes and dots of lace. Light body. Very smooth and easy drinking. Lighter, smooth carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Very nice wet hop character -- good pine, orange citrus, and moderate caramel malt. Drinkable and refreshing, but with a satisfyingly hoppy finish. Light to moderate sweet taste, moderate bitter, light spicy hop taste. Tasty session able hoppy pale ale. I imagine it might have been much tastier (with a more pronounced hop) closer to the date the keg was filled, but its drinking smooth and easy right now, still very satisfyingly hoppy - more hop-forward than malt, for sure.

Draft. Poured yellow with a bright white head. Lots of grain taste but very little hop. Good enough to drink again but no good enough to seek out.

best by 17MAY13 Wow, 4%?! I hope this is good, cuz I love me some low ABV beer! Grain yellow with a solid soapy quilt of whites. Smells of grain and grassy hops, some hints of lemon, but generally simple and crisp. Taste is crackers with a touch of bread and crouton, a bit of bitter and grass flavored hops; taste is okay, but a little more malty than Id expect from a "extra" pale ale.... Medium on thin bodied with moderate on hi carb with a wet finish. Im indifferent to this, if it was canned, Id be all over it for the golf course.
