3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Snallygaster on October 13th, 2012. Special edition of Uinta Wyld, has a nice piney hop aroma, and the dry hopping adds a nice extra dimension. Great flavor for 4% beer!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft: this is good, but this is where session pale ales go wrong in my book... the hops have to balance with the malt in the beer...they just sort of sit on top of everything else... so if that’s what you want, knock yourself out. If not... keep looking elsewhere.

Light hoppy draft beer. Decent fresh tasting beer but too hoppy for my liking.

Shared by my friend Dan. Pours dark golden with an attractive white head and a floral aroma. There is a smooth pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish. Lots of flavor.

A very nice ipa. Very fruity, some apple and a ton of citrus. Almost tart. Cloudy and orange. Tried this at the DC beerfest with Jess, Mark, and Matt in 2014.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
One of the early highlights of the beer festival. Pours cloudy light orange with good head and lacing. Some light bretta and some sour apple/cherry feel. Some hops and mash malt. Ingredients mix well. Finishes with light tangy sourness. Tap at DC Beer festival.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft into lager glass at Madrones in Frederick, MD. Slight orangy-golden color with white head. Aroma of citrus/herbal/grassy/earthy hops and fruity yeast notes. Taste leans more fruity hops (less bitter then aroma led on), bready and slight caramel note. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp yet somewhat creamy, with sweet bitter finish. Somewhat thin yet complex aromas/flavors, nice session APA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Dutch’s. Keg is best before Jan 25 2014. Totally clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Couple ropes and dots of lace. Light body. Very smooth and easy drinking. Lighter, smooth carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Very nice wet hop character -- good pine, orange citrus, and moderate caramel malt. Drinkable and refreshing, but with a satisfyingly hoppy finish. Light to moderate sweet taste, moderate bitter, light spicy hop taste. Tasty session able hoppy pale ale. I imagine it might have been much tastier (with a more pronounced hop) closer to the date the keg was filled, but it’s drinking smooth and easy right now, still very satisfyingly hoppy - more hop-forward than malt, for sure.
