Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours amberish gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral and citric. Med body. Flavor is clean, starting a little malty and followed by a decent amount of floral and grapefruit bitter. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Would be a very good session ale.

355ml bottle. It pours slightly cloudy, golden/orange in appearance. The nose has light malt and a hint of citrus fruit. The taste is lightly malty and grapefruity. The palate is well balanced between malt and hops. Medium structure, with medium texture and a long dry finish. Good beer that is in the middle between big-tasting beers and session ales.

Four+wylld poured a light carbonated head, and appears golden yellow and filtered. It smells of citrus and hints of yeast. The taste is watered down, the main flavors are subtle hops and malted barley.

12oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is bread, malt, honey, light apricot, and some citrus/ peach. Flavor is similar- honey, bread, caramel, and light citrus. Very light and sweet, from the malt and caramel to the citrus notes. Light to medium in body and really just an enjoyable and sweet APA.

Golden pour topped with a nice rocky white head. Pleasant honey, floral aroma with hints of citrus. Malty sweet honey taste without much bitterness to speak of. Not bad but not my idea of a pale ale.

Bottled (One of my twelve lost (for now) notes, so this is as well as I remember). Light golden. Citrussy fruity hop. Quite light of body. No sweet crystal malts. Pleasant enough.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 Bottle... dated 3/12/10. Maybe this was too old at the time I purchased. Huge white foamy, bubbly head... almost out of control. Aroma was pretty muted, mild hoppiness. Gold color, heavy carbonation, medium body. Taste is a little sour / astringent. I may try again given this bottle may have been off. Had again on 2.11.12 and seems like a good bottle. Very yellow color, clear, decent head. Aroma is still a mild hoppiness and taste is also moderate. Seems like a mild pale.

Hearty malt backbone with solid fresh toasted grain and biscuit character. Some nice caramel sweetness with straw and crisp grassy highlights. Silky smooth body with light fruit notes.

Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Orange gold with big white head. There is an initial fruity nose with the promise of plenty of hops. This transfers in to the beer, the body is light and crisp, there is a biscuity malt, but the big star is the fruity hop flavours, there is a bitter orange alongside a sharp passion fruit type flavour, refreshing, bitter for an APA, I really liked it and proof, if it were needed, that American beers don’t necessarily have to go big.
