1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Hazy light golden with a full, rocky white head, way too much head on initial pour.
Aroma: Oddly pungent and slightly medicinal, apple juice, yeah, lots of apples, a little zesty and resinous.
Palate: Medium body and sloppy carbonation.
Flav.: Lots of apple...seeds, peel, old juice, fresh juice, ugh, has an odd peppery note, some melanoidin maltiness, messy; dry with moderately harsh bitterness and a watery apple finish.
Something is wrong here. Not good.

I'm a fan of other kinds of Uinta but not this one. Kind of a bitter after taste. Not bad but probably won't buy it again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Whole Foods in Coral Springs, Florida. Best before. 10 19 14. The pour is slight haze golden yellow with a white head. The aroma is sweat, and a bit of resin. The taste starts with an odd sweaty onion, then shows some grass and a hint of citrus. Kinda weird taste, the onion was quite strong. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and the strange resin sweat finish lingers. Weird, potentially off (others don’t note the strong onion flavor) beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale yellow with with large white head. Lots of hops with citrus, grass, and spruce with hints of hay. A very nicely balanced extra pale ale with medium bitter and sweet. It has a medium body with a somewhat thin texture and a barely noticeable bitterness. I really like this beer and it’s definitely pale ale you can enjoy in the summer. Not sure if I’d buy it in a bar at only 4%

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – Served an amber colored brew with a one finger pure white fluffy head. The head fades fast to a thin film leaving a very light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very light overall, but consists of some light bready smells as well as aromas of lighter fruits (apple, pear and orange) and citrus hop aromas of a more grapefruit and lemon variety.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and biscuit taste with an upfront showing of some citrus hop tastes of a grapefruit nature. As the flavors advance a light sweetness of brown sugar and honey comes to the tongue as well as a small amount of an orange and pear fruit taste. The brew by no means takes on a sweet taste at this point however, as some flavors of a more grassy and herbal hop as well as an intensification of the grapefruit hop come to the tongue. In the end one is left with a somewhat off slightly sweet and rather citrus bitter hopped bready taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is quite high with tons of fizzy carbonation bubbles. The feel is quite appropriate for the more session style of the brew and make it quite easy to drink.
Overall – An alright APA, although there is something a bit off at the end of the taste with the combination of the bitter grapefruit hop and light honey and brown sugar sweetness, with the two combining in a not so harmonious fashion.
