Meh followed by yuck. Some promising features but then metal flavors all over everything. Maybe skunked, but got two other beers from this brewery (canít image Utah ships out much beer) at a bottle shop and they were fine. Pass

Bottle. Not much happening here. Some citrus and caramel. Balance and carbonation is OK. Finish is weak.

Reviewed 12/03/2012. 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. A: Pours a medium straw color with decent clarity. The head is a four finger white color with lowish retention for the ABV. The center of the head retains itself more thoroughly than the edges. Lots of patchy lacing, too. S: Thereís the typical grapefruit aroma expected from Cascade hops, along with some lemony esters. As it sits in the glass, the crackery pilsner malt shines through slightly. Not an assertive aroma, but itís likable enough. T: The taste is very simple, but the few dimensions it features are pulled off well. Initial lemon and grapefruit flavors, before being finished off by lightly sweet maltiness. A very good blonde ale, though hardly extreme or mindblowing. M: It could be a little less watery in general, but this is so easy to drink. Hell, itís practically a chugger. The light body and dry finish only help the drinkability. O: Who needs Bud Light when you have this? This isnít designed to be a Zombie Dust wannabe, itís designed to be drank by the six pack, or with a good meal. Very enjoyable as long as you donít expect explosive flavor.

Bottle from Total Wine & More in Cherry Hill. Labeled a Four+ Wildfire. Pours a hazy straw with a towering white head that grips the top of the glass and stays there all day long. Mildly tart aroma with yeast and a little citrus. Pleasant and slightly sour apple flavor up front followed by malt and backed up with plenty of hops. Thin texture and a very dry, very crisp finish. This reminded me of a thin version of Duvel.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Slightly hazy pale gold with thin creamy head and faint lacing. Aroma: Spicy floral aroma with some sweet citrus. Taste: Bready and grainy malts upfront, with light notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon and herbs. Light bitterness. Palate: Moderate carbonation, light but firm body with a dry finish. Feels like an English Bitter. Overall: Nice, subtle cross between an APA and an English Bitter. Very mild, but balanced and refreshing.

A perfumed pale ale nose, this beer is lightly hopped and made for drinking. Soft on the palate with little bitterness.

Bottle. Clear darker gold. Malted citrus aroma. The taste is heavy on garlic with light pale malts, very bland middle and finish. Decent but, not very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Floating yeast, wonderful taste. Not so much for the aroma. Good pale ale. Maybe its the Organic that makes this one different.

crisp refreshing beer, nothing too over the top, but a great summer yard-cuttiní beer.
