COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

Draft at Rhinehaus, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear orange-gold color, near the darker end of the spectrum, with a small off-white ring and film for a head. Notes of toasted malts, leafy hops, sugars, and straw - there isn’t much to this. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Uinta has some of the most straightfoward offerings of any brewery that bottles and distributes widely - maybe it’s the 4% restriction? - and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. In this case, it works.

Light amber color with a fluffy off white head that left sheets of lacing on the glass. Light grain and honey nose. Some sour dough bread notes with caramel and honey sweetness and a bit of earthy bitterness in the finish.

Fort Myers, Fl. - Total Wine & More - 12 oz can. Slightly hazy, but mainly sparkling light copper pour. Clingy snow white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has an odd meaty essence to it, not unpleasant, some nutty accents. Flavor has some brief Christmas spices, some date-like fruitiness, some ripening vegetables. Crisp mouthfeel.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is a mild bready maltmwith some whiffs of caramel. Flavor is typical vienna lager with no bitterness and a bready malt. This is probably a bit thinner than the average lager though. A bit watery but it does have a decnt malt presence.

Dark amber to copper color. Modest, but stable ecru head. Grainy, malty, bready scents. Just a hint of herbal hops. Mostly malty flavors with toasted and caramel malt. Light sweetness lingers through to the end. Could use a touch more hopping, but nt a bad amber lager (something I’m usually not real keen on).

Looks nice in a glass with the thick head and amber color but that is all it does. Typical lager aroma or lack there of and a taste that is maybe better than some lagers but still just another lager and then we look at the thin body even for a lager and the lack of one more percent ABV to make it at least not a LIGHT lager.... Just sad for winter and on Christmas too.... :(

Can at the Gnarly Barley. Pours clear bright copper with a fizzy, bubbly off white head. Tastes like caramel and bready malt, corn, some citrus hops, and musky grains. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like corn, caramel and bready malt, musky grains, and some citrus hops.
