COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

12 oz bottle. Deep amber/copper color and clear with a small white head and no lacing. Aromas of toasted grains, bready malts and hay. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation. Flavor is mostly toasted and caramel malts, faint honey and vanilla sweetness with a light hop bitterness that finishes dry. Pretty crisp and clean. Meh, not for me.

Pours a nice medium amber color. Nice roast aromas. Flavor has a roast almost burnt grain flavor to it.

3.2% draft @ brewery. An amber lager which was almost oderless. Nutty taste with fizzy dry finish.

Clean light brownish orange color, ok initial head, faded to a ring quickly, little to no lace. sweet flavor. light body, thin creamy smooth mouthfeel, sweet crisp finish. it’s ok, flavor best part, aroma fairly mellow.

Another hookup from douglas88, 12 oz. bottle, bottled 11/7/07. Pours nice amber, with a brief head. Clean malt smell is just starting to show some papery oxidation around the edges. Still shows a nice, amber malty taste, like a good lawnmower/bowling alley beer. Sticky texture, a bit nutty and bready, with a calm, assured noble hop background. Another example of how to make a decent lower-alcohol beer.

Pours a clear copper/brown color. A slight sweetness. The low alcohol sets this up as a pretty light beer. Toasted caramel malt aroma. Toffee and a slight bitter finish. Quick finish.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a hazy amber with white head. Aroma is fruity, light nut, faint grain and faint malt. Flavor isn’t much different. Mouth feel is light body and watery. Nothing I would recommend.

Decent Vienna lager, beautiful pour, average sweet malt aroma and taste. Orange copper body and immediate fluffy head. Medium weight, but no winter spice, as others have mentioned. Pure Vienna all the way.

Roastiness right off the bat, with some toasted caramel nuttiness, needs more hops and comes off a little unbalanced.
