COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice deep copper with a large two inch light tan head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, caramel, hops, pine, resin. Similar aroma. The body is light and watery, but decent. The finish is rather clean. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable, but maybe because it is the beginning of spring, it is slightly disappointing.

Late rating. 12 ounce single bottle picked up at Total Wine and More in Huntersville, NC. Pours a nice golden color with a light tan head. Aromas of toasted grain, malt. Medium body, average carbonation. Flavor is mostly toasted and caramel malts that finishes dry, crisp and clean. Not bad.

nice thick white head. well carbonated amber body. soft, grainy and somewhat floral. sweet, soft and smooth. a bit dry, some cardboardy malt tones. that's a Utah beer for sure, weak and stale

12 ounce bottle. Bright copper color topped by a small bubbly off-white head. Grainy, earthy toasted malt aroma. Mild toasted malt flavor with a very light biscuit, caramel backbone. Dryish grassy hops are indistinct. Finish is dry and uninspiring. Lacks complexity or depth. I was hoping for more.

Toasty, medium caramel, and lightly sweet flavor and aromas. Nice balance of malt characteristics. Some herbal hop flavor. Light to moderate bitterness.

I say this beer lands on the ale side. Malty aromas. Somewhat sweet to dry in the taste. Very little presense of hops. Not too bitter or dry in the aftertaste. Not a bad beer.

Tap. Pours an amber color with a thin head. Aroma of grassy hop and some light spicy notes. Flavor is lightly metallic with malts, and hops. Overall, flavor is weak. Nothing to write home about.

12oz bottle thanks again to Bu11zeye. Pours a hazy, light honey-colored body with little head. Aroma is lightly grainy/corny malt and "blech". Taste is corny sweet and somewhat sour(?). Thin mouthfeel with active carbonation.

Poured a deep amber/copper color with a huge creamy head that lasted to the bottom of the glass. The nose was very fresh and clean to the senses, mostly roasted malts and slightly citrusy. The taste starts with big, lightly sweet malt, and the finish has a piney pleasantness to it. The aftertaste is dry and crisp. A quite drinkable beer and at 4% ABV, something that would make a nice session beer.

Deer Valley Resort. Bottle. Nice reddish color with smell of sweetness to it. Malt was there along with some dried fruity taste. Not much of head retention. Thin mouthfeel. Not bad, but not great either
