COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

Pours a slightly hazed orange golden color with off-white head. Spice, vanilla, and some malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with spice, vanilla, roast. Not bad.

Pours transparent amber w/ out much of a head & little lacing. The aroma is relatively faint w/ some semi sweet malts coming through. The flavor is quite clean & nicely balanced. It’s not bursting in taste but it’s light, drinkable, & all around an ok beer!

nice thick white head. well carbonated amber body. soft, grainy and somewhat floral. sweet, soft and smooth. a bit dry, some cardboardy malt tones. that's a Utah beer for sure, weak and stale

Bottle @ home. Dark copper appearance with a small to medium-sized tan head. Very toasty, hugely nutty, dark caramel malty nose. Smooth, lightly syrupy mouth feel. There’s a huge nutty, caramel taste in the flavor that’s very rich and roasty. The whole flavor seems a little over the top.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a nice deep copper with a large two inch light tan head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, caramel, hops, pine, resin. Similar aroma. The body is light and watery, but decent. The finish is rather clean. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable, but maybe because it is the beginning of spring, it is slightly disappointing.

Bottle best before 03/13/13. Nose is lightly grainy, definite German lager yeast, a little sweetness with the pretzel dough and probably some Munich. Pours a beautiful dark amber-brown body and a short tan head. Very crisp full body, dense (and essentially impenetrable, simple) malt, mostly dry with a spritz of citrus on the back, hops are minimal but not absent, and there’s stability despite the light edge forward in malt. Water seems extra hard.

Aroma is light malt and a bit of noble hopping, minerally. Appearance is copper brown with small off white head, hazy. Taste is malt forward, grainy pilsner malt, light tartness, lingering bitterness present, hint of corn and noble hop flavor. Palate is light and crisp. Overall a decent Vienna. Could be a little bigger for my taste and Im not loving the corn but still very drinkable and refreshing.

Canned. Poured clear, bright reddish-orange with a short-lived off-white head. The aroma picked up fruity and caramel notes with light spicy accents. The flavor found sweet caramel at the core with fruity notes, some spices, and light oxidation around.. muddled finish. Light-medium bodied and tacky on the palate.. OK, but not the least bit exciting.

12oz bottle. Filtered amber-copper body. Thin, off-white head. Malt centered, not much a hop balance. Medium bodied, lighter than most amber lagers. The aroma is a little unappetizing, earthy and stale. Drinkable, but definitely wouldn’t want a sixpack.

Pours a reddish orange color with aroma of toasted malt and caramel. Vanilla and caramel flavor with some toasted malt. Decent.
