Brassy gold with a strong white billow. Inviting, acetone-steeped apricot and peach on the snout with undercurrents of lime, chick pea and dung; more alcohol on the palate which fizzes like soda, nods at almond and cake, then dissipates into a boozy slush of bread, grass cuttings, overripe banana and unidentified, 5 day old xmas trifle fruits soaked in liqueur and Special Brew.

Bottle @ Willems, Belgium. Pours unclear golden with a large creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is herbal and spicy. Makes me think of vomit. Flavor is dry and grainy. A bit of yeast and hops. Clean with a bit of warmth from alcohol. Lively carbonation. Cookie dough. Full bodied. Tasty.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin, creamy white head that leaves some lacing. Complex fruity spicy citrus aroma with some clove and banana. Spicy bitter flavor, slightly sweet and a bit on the watery side. Well balanced.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and dense cream-coloured foamy head. Yeasty, citrus-fruity and peppery hoppy aroma with strong spicy notes of coriander. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale and cara-malty taste with yeasty and hoppy fruity notes; quite dry and bitter finish with a light malty sweetness, slightly citric and floral hops and loads of coriander spice. A tad too spicy but nevertheless likeable Tripel. 15.I.10

330ml bottle (Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks)
Bright orange. Fruity, but also sour aroma - lemon fresh? Almost urinal. Very sharp palate, carbonation high, and drying in the mouth. Leaves a very fruity hoppy finish. A little thin, but plenty of fruity esters. A touch of alcohol too, alas. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle, 5.8%. Good citric aroma, quite funky. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, quite citric, some white wine. The finish is a bit rough with a hint of stable.
