[Growler] A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity, but also prunes and some burnt detergents. The flavor is dry roasted and very spicy - with coriander standing out, which makes me think of a Belgian Ale. The end is very dry.

Cloudy dark chestnut. Fudgey, chocolatey, nutty aroma. Sweet flavour. Some fattiness in the body, sulphur on the nose. Bland, sugary. Didn’t get what they were getting at.

Growler. Amber coloured. Loads of apples in the aroma. Quite hoppy flavour with a dry and bitter finish. Low carbonation. Light to medium bodied. Fresh.

(Bottle) Organic beer blind tasting at Brouwers’s in Seattle, March 3, 2007. Not terribly Scottish in aroma more a smoked apples, prunes and boiled tomatoes. Flavour of sour brown sugar. Poor.
