This helles or pale bock is deep gold in color with a predominantly malty aroma. The flavor is complex with bisquit transitioning to a spirited warming effect and a mild noble hop aftertaste.

GABF 2004. Dark yellow with an average-sized white head. Head diminishes rather quickly. Average straw and wet grain aroma. Very lightly sweet flavor is short lived. Slightly sweet aftertaste. Thin and light bodied. Just not a very good maibock.
