Mar 14, 2009 Magnum bottle from 2005 bought at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty caramel aroma with hints of dark fruit and chocolate. Sweetish very malty caramel and dark fruit flavor with some hints of chocolate. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish.

May 19, 2008 On tap in Ukiah. Aromas of caramel malt, whiskey,woodsmoke and chocolate. Darkest garnet but visible. negligible head. a little oily and flat in the mouth. Complex flavors of molasses, chocolate, roasted malt-- cant find the alcohol. bocks can be a bit murky and still be very good.

Jun 11, 2006 [Tap - North American Organic Brewers Festival] A good dark ful bodied Dopple Bock. This had a very heavy feel to it and was very full of flavor. The strong alochol was in this for sure. Great brew. It will only get better with age.
