A good strong ale normally available around Christmas time. Where there was nothing wrong with it, I donít really miss it when itís not available during the rest of the year.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask-conditoned at the Old Crown, Uley 27/12/2011. Reddish amber with a slight, off-white head. Red berry and bready malt aroma with a touvh of caramel. Flavour was driven by fruity malts, with a touch of cereal and moderately bitter finish. Alcohol was fairly prominent throughout. Ok.
