Bottle. A clear one, golden in color, and with a minimal sized off-white head. Very weak nose, with some pale malts, fruityness and grass. Quite dry on the palate, with pleasant carbonation. The flavor is equally uninteresting, but not bad in any way. Pale malts, fruityness and some lemony hop notes. Lacks a bit on the bitterness. A decent beer, too anonymous, but sure drinkable. 111126

Koelschtrinker (9998) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 4, 2011
9/11/12/12/9/12

It’s dark golden with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of malt, straw and caramel. The flavour is slightly sweet and a bit moldy with notes of malt, straw, flower and light caramel, and the finish is dry.

Bottle:Deep golden, small persistent white lacy head; quite dry grainy-malty and peppery hoppy nose with a light but distinctive barnyardy touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; barnyardy flavours return in the moderate malty-bitter finish. Pleasant, not too glorious.........

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet malty and doughy aroma with a bready and slightly minty touch, accompanied by shy fruity and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Bready (cara-)malty taste with very subtle fruity notes; medium-dry, sweet and faint bitter hoppy finish. Hearty but not as convincing as the Martin Pils ྻ.VIII.09).
