Beautiful golden color. A very common Lager, with a rather sweet mouthfeel, and a correct bitterness.

Bottle at Warm Water, Brussels. Suprisingly nice for a Belgian pilsner, this is soft and honesyish. Thoroughly drinkable, very acceptable compared to the commercial pils in Belgium.

Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2004
Clear golden beer with a tall frothy white head. Mild aroma, pilsner malt and hints of hop. Rather full flavor, sweet malty with flower and grass tones. Soft and smooth and a nice pilsener.

Bottle at Copenhagen Beermarathon 2004: Clear golden, with a rich head. Aroma is malty and just a bit hoppy. Taste is rather malty, and just on the sweet side. not much of an aftertaste

Deep golden, nearly orange, clear, quite carbonated beer; huge yellowish, fine & dense head, collapsing. Cookies, toast, rather dull, musty nose. Very strange vegetable taste - not DMS, more like olives (without the salt) or artichokes etc. Dolmadikis (vine leaves stuffed with rice) spring to my mind. Retronasal indeed maybe a bit cheesy, too. Toasted taste is there too, especially warming up. Not really light-bodied, bit grainy slickness. Well, OK. (To me) it is a lager after all. Give me a black label, please.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2013 Bottle. Gold to light amber color, creamy head. A hint of honey i the aroma. Orange and honey in the flavor, combined with just a bit of hops. Tastes a bit like a diluted Girardin geuze white label, but certainly has complexity and a fine flavor. A pleasant surprise, but hardly a pilsener. Tap@ Oude Pruim Beersel. Golden color, hazy. Floral aroma with a hint of citrus. Floral citric hopbitter flavor/ Cellar aftertaste with a hint of citrus. I could swear there were some bretty notes.

Bottled. Golden colour, rich head. Bready nose. Meaty, buttery and fairly dry with spicy notes amd some grassy hops. Fresh and rich with soft mouthfeel. Surprisingly flavourful and full of character for being a Belgian pilsener.

Draught at Oude Pruim, Beersel. Golden coloured. A rather sweetish and malty pilsener with a soft mouthfeel. Some bitterness in the finish.

Dough aroma. Dark golden color, white head, good lace. Light spicy, cheesy, dough, very short finish, light and soft. The finish is very cheesy. Is this a pilsener?
