Bottled. Sweet fruity aroma with apple, pineapple and apricot. Yellow color, white head, good lace. Very sweet, herbal bitter start but this is soon gone, fruit comes in (apple, apineapple) and in the finish some cinamon. Very sticky. Not complex and maybe a bit too sweet for my linkings but still nice.

[Draught] What a fantastic Christmas brew! Hazy golden coloured. Loads of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg and some coriander in the aroma and in the flavour. A true spice bomb. Very soft and pleasant mouthfeel. If you like spekuloos or Swedish pepparkakor, this is a brew for you.

[Draft at ZBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a fine but collapsing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cinnamon. The flavor is cinnamon, cinnamon, and cinnamon, but also lovely sweet and with a dry end as well as alcohol, that runs prickling over the tongue which gives it a good body. Great beer.

Tap, ZBF 2004. Hazy gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Big spicy nose with hints of gingerbread and cinnamon, and some thick malt. Full bodied, sweet and syrupy but faintly tart with more spiciness, reminded me of Nürnberger Lebkuchen which is probably something similar to speculoos. Long and spicy finish. Good, but only in small doses.
