COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yes, we needed something for the heavy beerdrinkers in Ecaussinnes... so Hugues brewed a five degrees blond top- fermented beer, but still with a nice taste.

33 cL bottle via Lubiere, served at cellar temp. in a tulip glass. AU19/07

App.: Bright straw, clear, large, fluffy white head. Aroma: Light honey, flowers, a bit of yeast and bread dough; hard to smell through the enormous meringue(!); a little lemony citrus and light stone fruits. Palate: Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth. Flav.: Pleasing spice and honey, light fruitiness – mainly peaches and apricots, off-dry, no bitterness with a pleasant finish.

Nice, light, inoffensive and pleasing.

Boutip (3979) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 20, 2007
Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a big pure white foamy head with god retention and good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some spices and some yeast. Taste is also comprised of a balance mix between some spices (maybe from yeast?) and some sweet Belgian malt with a slightly hoppy dry finish. Body is quit full with some great carbonation. I though this was well conceive and very refreshing.

Bottled sample via boutip. Pale gold in colour with a bit of haze and a bunch of floaties. Strong carbonation. Aromas of banana and spicy yeast. A bit of sticky malt in the mouth before more banana and bubblegum notes take over. Sharp finish and relatively dry. Not too bad... sort of like a baby Duvel.

HogTownHarry (5653) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUL 24, 2007
Bottle (330ml). Via trade with Boutip. Poured hazy light brass, large fizzy white head. Sweet aroma of candy sugar, sweet spice, doughy yeast, pear and banana, some light grassy hops and lemon juice as it warms. The taste is a little more generic, faint fruit, not as sweet, nowhere near the spice or yeast presence. Light mouthfeel, stingingly carbonated, quick finish with a slightly papery aftertaste - not bad, nothing special.

White head on a yellow body. A good average beer, thirst quencher, but I din’t find it exceptional.
