Bottle 33cl @ Home.
Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lancing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, fruity - dark berryes, moderate to light heavy yeasty, spicy - clove. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a spicy burn finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. It’s a bit to spicy IMO. [Draft at ZBF 2004] A clear dark brown beer with a fine disappearing though laziing head. The aroma is sweet roasted with notes of raisins and plums. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.

From 33 cL bottle@OLiAarhus. Pours with a very nice creamy light brown head, colour is dark brown with a red hue. Berry fruity, spiced and very sweet. Sweet flavour, caramel. Spiced and slight fruity. Strange combination that requires some adjustment before it works for me. Nice sweet finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, dark, reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Very spicy aroma - almost like Undrrberg or Fernet Branca. Full-bodied with very sweet notes of brown sugar and roasted malt. Some licorice and then again these very spicy accents that I rather associate with a digestive alcohol. Dry, lightly bitter and rather alcoholic finish. 240906

Bottled. Dark brown colour, small brown head. Candy sugar, caramel, licorace and some spices in the aroma. Flavour has the same with plum added. Very sweet and spiced beer, This would do as a Christmas beer...

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2006 [Bottled] Cloudy brown, rich creamy head. Very sweet with spicy lingonberry aroma and near full body. Dominated by saccharine and gingersnaps. The mouthfeel is pleasantly soft, but the excessive saccharine sweetness creates a burning, inky sensation that overpowers everything else.

Bottle. Clear brown coloured with an off white head. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel and spices. Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits, spices and yeast.

Bottle at Aarhus beerfestival. Pours dark brown with a nice white head. Aroma & taste is of dark fruits, yeast, spices & sugar. Full bodied. Long end. Nice!

Dark amber to brown color; huge thick head. Nice aroma, malty, old, light hops. Malty and sweet taste, medium spices (cinnamon, ginger…).

Bottle. Sour aroma. Dark brown colour. Very sweet and quite peppery. Cinnamon flavour. Slightly sour.
