3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33cl @ Home.
Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lancing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, fruity - dark berryes, moderate to light heavy yeasty, spicy - clove. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a spicy burn finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. It’s a bit to spicy IMO. 3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great renewable foam. It smells sweet caramel and taste is also very cute. The caramel has its mark with sweet notes of fruit. Hop bitterness is missing.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Specialty beer with yellowish beige, equal, moussy, sticky and stable head and very dark chestnut brown colour with ruby hue, misty. Aroma reveals a strong spicy sweetness of gingerbread, star aniseed, cinnamon and mint, some ’speculoos’ too, chocolate, cloves, blackcurrant, candied cherries, liqueur. Explicit sugary and syrupy sweetness in the mouth, soft and rounded mouthfeel, becoming more spicy but in a ’pastry’ kind of way, with ginger, aniseed and cinnamon impressions, a certain leatheriness and woodiness, resinous, port-like with weak hoppiness in the finish, which is dominated by the lingering initial candi sweetness. Unusual, very sweet but nevertheless interesting. Recommendable for those who enjoy thick, utterly sweet yet rich beers.
