Golden, sparkly with a bleached head. Looks nice; I was beginning to doubt its Zhiguly credentials until I smelled it. The aroma is full of nice, clean rancid butter...fitting the style perfectly. The taste is caramel and butter, and the beer is light. Gets points for reflecting authenticity without sacrificing drinkability.

Pale golden color, mid-sized beige head. Unclean aroma of grain , fruits, light sourness. Taste is same. Light bitterness in aftertaste . Regional ukrainian Zhiguli with light pleasant dirtiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Очень хороший лагер, как и все из Умани.

Bottle. Like champagne - so many foam after opening. Bready aroma. Taste is full, bready, not so sour and with some hops. Aftertaste was short.

Draught from a stand in Odessa. Pale golden colour with poor head. Fruity nose with slight butterscotch. Medium bitterness, very light bodied. Subtle flavour profile, but not any major flaws.

Classical Soviet era "Zhiguli" taste: floral and unclean with hints of moss and iron. One can find here much more than its strengthness suggests...
