2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light lager, the one at the beer museum, the unfiltered one probably as everyone else has said, it’s forgettable with a slightly bitter finish.... what, are you trying to buy this beer to go with a specific food? Like wine? Seriously, this one’s hard to pick out of a crowd. I tried it once and I bet you that if you lined up all these Czech lagers tomorrow I couldn’t pick it out. Like a blind taste test. Sounds tempting. Let me know where to show up.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Prague Beer Museum. After one friendly waitress got us a couple of beers, another, quite less so, took the order for a sampler and then didn’t bother to tell us what was what. Luckily, it wasn’t hard to guess. Anyway, this poured a murky shinier yellow body. Sharp perfumey creamy aroma, herbal, and not in a very good way. Sweetish polleny lager, with notes of wet cardboard, ending dry. Just a shade less bitter than expected, but there’s a passable herbal hoppy note. Well... hm. I like it and I didn’t. Maybe it wasn’t in the best of shapes - it was interesting, with some pros, but some cons that make some of these high grades look weird. Oh well. Bit sad I have to go against the grain here, but I really do.
