Feb 17, 2008 The selection of beers here have continued to be winners. I do admit that despite this being quite hoppy, I had expected it to be even more brash, but that’s all having to do with me and what Atomic implies. Strongly hopped, yes. Well made, yes. Knocks your socks off hoppy, not quite but sure wasn’t a detraction either.

Nice thick amber with spotted lacing. Sweet malty hop aroma. Flavor is highly hopped and is quite sweet to balance it nicely. Great thick and smooth palate. So drinkable. Another great one from Uncle Billys!

Jan 28, 2008 On tap at Uncle Billys. Pours a rich glowing orange/amber color with a smallish white head. Smell is fruity, sweet and aromatic hops with notes of apricot. Smell is somewhat subtle compared to the intense hop flavor. Crisp, shart bitterness with pleasant notes of earthy, citrusy, and fruity hops. Somewhat of an earthy, grassy hop finish to it. Rich, mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.
Not my favorite IPA of theirs, but with this high of a score still, it’s a compliment. Very solid beer.
