Had on draft at the brewpub. Served in a pint glass. Pours a little dark for a pale; amber in color with an inch or so of frothy head. Smells of passionfruit, apricots and citrus.......... possibly from Simcoe or Cascade hops. Tastes of caramel and sweet malt. A growler of this very enjoyable beer was taken for a nightcap. Well done, Amos!

The beer pours a hazy yellow-orange color with a white head. The aroma is very fruity with a lot of citrus notes. The flavor is orange, grapefruit and bread. The flavor is very juicy. Low to medium bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice hoppy American Pale Ale.

Latest incarnation is delicious. I think Brian has "figured out" the pale ale style. Well balanced with bittering, flavor and aroma hops. This batch has a fruity, orange flavor with it. Delicious.

Tap at the brewpoub. Hazy range pour with small off white head. Aroma is citrusy, pine, great nose for an APA. Flavor is slightly bitter, pine, grassy, and soap. Bubbly mouthfeel.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 spaceycasey (13) - , Texas, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Haze free amber color with a good head that provides adequate lacing.
Up-front grape fruit presence - simcoe? Nice, not too over the top bitterness with a solid malt backbone to support. Perhaps resides somewhere between an APA and an IPA - still very enjoyable.

(draught at brewpub) pours clear yellow with a head and lacing that’s still around 10 mins after a small pour. Nose of citrus hops, pineapple, and mango. Taste of bright citrus hops, oily bitterness that could use some sweet malts to make it superb. Quite creamy and nice. Drinkable too.
