Tap at the pub. Clear light orange-golden appearance. Foamy head. Aroma is floral hops, decorative soap and sweet grain. Flavor is fruity hops and bitter with a dry finish. Lots of hops in this one as well. A little less abrasive than the others I’ve had tonight.

Woody, spicy aroma. Copper color. Nice white head stays around for the drink. Kinda foody undertaste, but no doubt, a ton of hops. Sweet flavor. Bitter finish.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Mora2000 (4040) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2011
On tap at the brewpub under the name Hop Summit IPA. ABV listed at 6.5 percent.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the tropical fruit. I get a lot of fresh papaya as well as some pineapple.
The flavor is more of the same. The papaya really stands out and there is a nice amount of orange citrus to compliment the papaya. The biscuit malt keeps things from getting too sweet. Low bitterness, very drinkable. The beer is very dry overall.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On draught. Oh yeah. This beer pours a gorgeous orange color with a white head and soapy lacing. Orange/floral nose. Orange and malt in the flavor with a balanced smooth bitterness. Well made beer. Only problem is: It’s gone. :-(

yeh baby. I could drink this all night long. I know I’m letting my bias show, but think this could easily go up against many big time IPAs.
VERY GOOD.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 lb4lb (2044) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2007
New on tap at Uncle Billys. Seems strange but I absolutely love the look of the Uncle Billys beers. Always seem to have such a gorgeous color, body and head to them that make them so appealing to me and this one was no exception. Pours a fiery rich amber color with a creamy offwhite head that left tons and tons of lacing. Smell is big, big, big sweet and fruity hops. Very aromatic and extremely inviting. Big hoppy bitter bite up front and a bit of a dry grapefruit rind like bitterness followed by a creamy subtle sweetness. Thick, rich body, and nice lasting bitter finish. They make some outstanding IPAs here and this is definitely another one.
