UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 On tap in a pint glass. Pours a gold color with a moderate white fluffy head with minimal lacing. Aroma is hoppy with citrus notes. Taste is similar to the aroma. Hoppy upfront with a citrus finish. Average carbonation. Good beer overall.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
16 oz. can acquired in a trade. One of the better craft lagers I’ve tasted in recent years. Crisp and tasty, mildly hoppy, well carbonated and possesses a lot of body for a 4.7% ABV. Never heard of Uncle Billy’s but the brewery has my respect based on this product. Hopefully I’ll land another can at some future date

Hoppy and a malty sweetness. Dirty mouth feel. Okay beer but not well rounded.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can:   Light example, a little grassy, straw and hay.   Very strong straw hay and strong on the backside.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   A touch dry, clean, a little crisp on the finish.   Seems a moderate example.   Not much off on this, but could stand to be a touch more bright.   Thanks Bill!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours golden. Smell is fruity and balanced light malt with some hops. Taste is crisp and fruity and lightly hopped. Nicely balanced, refreshing, clean flavors and easy to drink. Crisp carbonation. I could pick up a 4 pack of this and really enjoy it. Nice and with no off flavors.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Out of a can at the brewery. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor are full of biscuit malt with some grass notes thrown in. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Basic, but enjoyable.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the Uncle Billy's Brew & Que, Austin, TX.
Clear watery pale golden colour with a small white head.
Mild bitterness and malt in the aroma. The flavour is much stronger. There's grassy bitter hops and some dry maltiness. Dry. Low carbonation.
Mild bitterness in aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. It smells skunky. It laces well. The flavor is wet hay, and somewhat bitter. Its refreshing and taste ok. The aroma is just a little offputting. Almost smells old. Its not bad, hust a little funky.
