(Growler thanks to blutt59) near black pour with creamy medium tan head and excellent lacing. Nose of good coffee, chocolate syrup, dry cocoa. Taste of bittersweet coffee, cream, and fudge. Very creamy body with nice coffee linger. One of the best beers to come out of Uncle Billy’s yet.

Dark look, black in color, and has a tan colored head. The smell is coffee, malts, burnt, roast, and dark chocolate. The taste is really roasty, coffee, dark chocolate, malts, and good.

Black body with a nice creamy beige head and a thick blanket-like lacing. Has some espresso flavor mixed in nicely with the malt. Nice, smooth creamy palate. Very drinkable! Smell is a bit subtle overall - light roasted malt and coffee smell. Good brew!

Growler thanks to blutt59. Pours with a large tan head with a near black body. Aroma of nice and strong and fresh coffee, spicy. Really fresh and roasty smelling. Taste is not as strong coffee. But nice and bitter roast.

On tap. Pours a black brown color with a small light brown foamy head. Notes of chocolate, coffee grounds, smoke, and fudge. Thinner mouthfeel but silky.

GABF. Decent black pour with tan head. Lots of coffee on the aromas. Flavors fell off a bit. Still mocha touches in there. NIce finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured an opaque black color with a brown head. The aroma was equal parts, coffee, toffee, and chocolate. Medium to full bodied. Semi sweet up front with mild roasty bitterness at the end. Tasted of roasted nuts, toffee, and roasty coffee. Nice.

Maybe I shouldn’t try a stout in summer. But waiting for a proper ocassion has never been one of my strengths. Coffee right out of the gate, can’t miss it. Nice roasty stout. Medium body. Pretty decent all in all, but will look foward to having again either when things cool down of they turn the AC to ice formatio cycle.

Black appearance. Tingy tan head. Good coffee aroma and iced coffee taste. Very strong and clean tasting. The only way you can tell its a beer is because it finishes pretty bitter.
