Commercial Description:
For generations, we made hard cider simply for our family's enjoyment. Then word got out about its crisp, fresh taste and folks asked us to bottle and sell it. So here it is, direct from out farm to you. We use only premium Michigan fruit - most of it grown just steps from our Fruit House Winery. One taste and you'll know why it's won just about every award around. And why it's the perfect grown-up beverage for any occasion.

From a 750 ml bottle. Pale yellow body with traces of a white head at the edges of the glass. The aroma is light dry with the pears and some fresh green wood. Ok, there is also a little bit of a gamey hint, I guess this is just the earthy pears. The taste is really sweet. It is like canned pear juice, but with sugar added. Then there is a little bit of a metallic hint. The body is lightly carbonated, and a little thin. Good for a summer drink, but this is nearly cloying sweet. I can hardly detect the alcohol. If someone had told me this was a pop or a malternative, I probably would not have questioned them on it.

750ml bottle: Hey first rating for this...woo hoo. Pours a clear very light color of green and gold with a nonexistent head, but has a great lacing coming up the side of my glass. Aroma is dominated by pears and a light white wine dryness to the aroma as well. Taste is somewhat sour and got a fruity effervescence to this pear cider. I really like the farmhouse ale feel to this cider. Sweet yet it gives you a pucker to the taste that is really refreshing. Palate is lightly sweet and fruity. Overall, Hey this is the first perry I’ve rated, but it’s damn good. Nice and crisp, lightly sour and the sweetness gets to you after a while. Good stuff.
