3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Schouskjelleren.
Clear gold, Beligan yeast aroma.
Farily typical Belgian blond. The yeast character is there, sugar/honey, bitterness bordering on sourness in the background. Hard to do this better than Duvel.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Super frothy pour! 4 parts foam to 1 part liquid, and the glass gets well-laced. Fairly skanky aroma unfortunately, with a bit of floral scent. Pretty intense golden ale taste - it i hard to pick out the poppy seeds (pun intended), but there is clearly something interesting going on here. This could have some wheat in it. There is a bittersweet flavor and a dash of lemon peel in a flavorful medium weight ale. Good.

Can. Poured hazy yellow color with a large white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet zing finish of moderate duration. Complex drinkable brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to illidurit for this one as a bonus. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Nose is big Belgian yeast-floral, tropical fruit, overripe bananas, and other esters with a hint of burn. Flavor is similar- Belgian yeast is the dominant character with some light malt and tropical fruit with banana and floral qualities. Interesting light- to medium-bodied ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can. Poured a pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma is very light sweet malts, touch of lemony citrus, and a minute note of poppy. Flavor is crisp, clean, a bit boring but the finish has a nice poppy character to it. Interesting.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Canned at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of glue and marzipan. Sweet and appley with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Getting thinner towards the finish. Not great.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at Capital Ale, Innsbrook, 9/9/11
Aroma: The aroma had some malty notes to it, some citrus/lemon, and a bit of spice
Appearance: This brew pours a fizzy golden color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly balanced between the malts and hops, with some lemon/orange, and spice
Palate: The body is fairly light (leaning medium), a touch on the fizzy side, and with a decent mouthfeel
Overall, this was a decent offering. It is a balanced beer, and it works pretty well. Some solid stuff. It wasn’t my favorite, but I’d drink it again.

Golden yellow with thick lasting head. Hop aroma with some spice. Interesting poppy notes in the flavour, I didn’t recognise them at first. Spicy finish.
